Even though Dave & Janet have lived in San Diego for I don't know how long, neither of them have ever been to In-N-Out Burger...how crazy is that?
Dave's occasional treat through all this chemotherapy has been a good cheeseburger. In the beginning, it was Carl's Jr., which I suppose makes sense given it's the closest to their home. But now that they're expanding their horizons, they've tried Five Guys, and now, In-N-Out. Maybe we'll play around with a few more options (The Counter, Elevation, Notorious) to see what ends up as his favorite.
It's been a great weekend for them after the nail-biting waiting (for test results) on Thursday-Friday, but in the end, wonderful news! Dave looks fantastic, and even gained a couple pounds in the past week. The burger will probably help in that department...

Dave & Janet, make sure and try out the Burger Lounge in Flower Hill Mall, a small place but the best burgers in town, the fries are great too, haven't had a milkshake there but they sure look tasty. Enjoy and happy Anniversary!
