Big D Day

Today is a huge milestone, as it's the last day of Dave's chemo/radiation treatments!  Dave has remained strong through it all, and is still running, biking, and more (how does he do it?).  Dave and Janet are even participating in this Sunday's Purple Stride San Diego 2013, organized by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (http://purplestride.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1069660).  A few of us (Heidi, Jane, Anneke, Kelly, Dana, Betty, and myself) will be walking alongside during this inspiring event.

As we all celebrate Dave's achievement, take a look at all the love and support pouring in from family and friends...

Happy Big D Day!! We took some pictures with the dolphins and big cats that Dr. Hager has worked with interpreting radiographs. They wouldn’t let me put purple shirts on the animals so the best I could do was put my ugly mug in the pics. Everyone at Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat wish him a speedy recovery.
